Saying no: Sheriffs fed up!
Adding a new wrinkle to the phrase, "I'm mad as hell, and I'm not taking it anymore," several California sheriffs, as well as one from Oregon, say they aren't cow-towing to the federal leviathan anymore.

Sheriff Threatens Feds With SWAT
As more people became dissatisfied with federal government controls and land grabs, it was inevitable that local law enforcement would eventually see the bigger picture. At the northern California fairgrounds of Yreka last month, seven California sheriffs and another from Oregon gathered with a large group of citizens to say that they are finally going to do something about it.

Who is the highest law enforcement officer in the land? A four Star General? Our Commander and Chief, the President of the United States? Nope. It’s your local Sheriff! So when electing a Sheriff, make sure you elect one who has principles, integrity and most of all one who will obey their oath to the Constitution and Bill of Rights, no matter how the political winds may change, and will stand up for what’s right.
