New Police Drone Near Houston Could Carry Weapons
A sheriff’s office outside of Houston is taking a big and potentially controversial step forward with a new piece of law enforcement technology. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is prepping its deputies to fly a $300,000 unmanned ShadowHawk helicopter (paid for with a Homeland Security grant) that someday might carry a weapons payload.

Spartanburg County Sheriff Chuck Wright is well known for his candid style of speaking and at a press conference this is known for speaking his mind, and at a news conference today, he let loose his anger and frustration when questions about a woman who was assaulted in Milliken Park over the weekend.

So when electing a Sheriff, make sure you elect one who has principles, integrity and most of all one who will obey their oath to the Constitution and Bill of Rights, no matter how the political winds may change, and will stand up for what’s right.
